(To see the signs in action check my friend Rachael’s blog for some funny shots)
We are on our second year of “New York New Year’s Eve!” We all have kiddos, so keeping them entertained till midnight or trying to put ALL of them down at someone else’s house is way more hassle that it’s worth. So we all get together for a Pajama Party and do the countdown on New York time (9pm our time!). We eat, chat and the kids have a great time playing… except when Cora smashed a wine glass on the coffee table and glass chunks went everywhere. Then when it is time to go, kids are already in their PJ’s ready to be whisked away and put to bed.
There is a tradition that says, what you are doing at at midnight is a prediction of what the new year will be like (thanks JaMean).
~At midnight New York time we were laughing with our closest friends.
~At midnight our time I was making out with Hot Hubby on the couch.
It’s going to be a GREAT year!!!

I love that you do NY New Year's…when we were little, my parents made us go to bed at 10pm, saying "it's midnight at Granny & Grandpa's house in New York!" Having an actual party seems fun though!
