If you are working your way through First Language Lessons for the Well-Trained Mind Level 1, your kids will love this sewing heart activity to help reinforce their poetry memorization.
“Hearts are like Doors” poetry memorization is introduced in lesson 27 and consider doing this activity on the day you do lesson 32 (a lighter lesson day). Hang up the the finish project (along with the “Work” activity and “The Caterpillar” activity) as a fun way to help reinforce the poem memorization and remind the children of the poems they have memorized. You can also turn this work into your Charter Schools.
