Happy Monday.
Today has gone by so darn fast and I haven’t gotten anything done.
That’s the worst.
Just so I feel like I’ve finished something, I’m going to link up Life Rearranged’s InstaFriday for a quick update of our week.
Even though it’s Monday.
Whatever.
This week I’ve been thinking about how lucky I am to live where I live (as in the USA), and to have the friends I have (this includes you), and that I’m blessed with 4 great kiddos (though I would be more blessed if they slept in), and a husband who adores me (even though the junk in my trunk needs to go on Hoarders).
Since it’s around Saint Paddy’s Day I’ll reflect on my lucky-ness…
I had a lil’ craft day at my house to make more of those Saint Patrick’s Day banners with my friends Lori, Kyla and Jaime.
Kyla brought me a little rainbow garland giftie she made. I love it.
I’m a pretty lucky gal to have awesome crafty friends!
My hubby doesn’t like it when I sneak pix of him. But I do it anyway.
I met some friends at Rutabegorz in Downtown Fullerton (such a yummy place) and saw this mural at the park next door. I love the colors.
I’m a pretty lucky gal to have a fun hubby and longtime friends to meet for lunch.
I devoured The Hunger Games. Have you?
You should rent a hotel room and lock yourself away for 3 days.
Now, whenever I watch Hollywood stuff I can’t help but compare it to the Capitol.
Isn’t life so much more than our little worlds?
I’ve been contemplating my little place in this big world and I’m thinking my whole vision for the biz is changing.
It’s crazy.
More to come.
P.S. The above PEOPLE magazine was good but not worth the $6 I paid for it. If you want it let me know and I’ll send it to you. REALLY!
I can’t lie.
Life as a mother of 4 is rocking me.
Everyone who said, “anything after 3 is easy,” are liars.
Big. Fat. Liars.
I’m 6 months in and Tess is starting to feel part of the mix now. Cora Jane calls the above game, Super Baby. Tess calls it, “What the flying frick is going on here???”
I’m so lucky my kiddos get along well.
I stopped drinking coffee while I was preggers with Tess.
I’m back on it. And I’m starting to become human again.
The moment the coffee touches my lips life flows into my veins.
My coffee maker is in storage while we live in our hip NY City apartment but my mom discovered some fair trade instant coffee and I love it!
I’m so lucky that I get exhausted staying home with my kiddos and not picking coffee beans for pennies.
Hot Hubby got to play softball with his old team and it was so much fun! We totally miss going to his weekly games so this was a real treat. Especially because the kiddos’ God parents were there too. They are cool and we love them.
I’m so lucky to have an active family and beyond blessed to have close friends to do life with.
I was on zulily and found the cutest new clothing store – DownEast Basics. I bought the perfect Easter outfit for a steal, and low and behold they have a store at the Spectrum!! Yay!
We had a family date day to the in the rain to check the store out.
A-mazing deals. I got 2 tees for $5 each!!
The kiddos looked adorable in their Lids. Get a Fedorable now. Seriously.
It’s a showstopper!
I’m so lucky to have a biz that I truly love.
I really can’t wait to share more about my vision for the biz as we grow.
I think you’ll love it.
I hope you love it.
If you like that we donate to Surfers Healing and to help Bring Henry Home you will.
I hope hope hope…

4 kids is rocking my world too, some days I feel like I’ve just been sucker-punched. I’m glad to know I’m not alone in that feeling hehe 😮

You just made me laugh out loud with your running commentary… and I needed that. I’m procrastinating on the packing for the big super fun trip to Ev. Love the photo shoot pics too! Hugs to you and your beautiful family!!

Thanks!
I’m so excited for you! We are praying you and Evie this week. I can’t believe this day is here and you are going to have 5 kids!!
Jaime says
I loved being at your craft party, thanks for the invite!! Downeast Basics is so fun. 🙂

So fun!! I think it’s time for me to get rid of all my clothes and start over. I wear a fraction of what I own.
I think Kyla’s having the next one. Then when I move by you we can really alternate places easily with school drop offs and such… 🙂

I powered through Hunger Games last weekend. I had no idea what it was about but now I’m excited for the movie to come out. I haven’t read all the books though. Have you?
Love these posts. Love ya -K
Eli's Lids says
Yes! I read them all. I recommend them, it just gets better. If you have a kindle or the kindle ap on your phone, I can digitally load them to you. It’s free and I think it gives you a pretty long time to read them!
Kristin A. says
yea! i do have the kindle app on my iphone! by the way, did you see this pin? http://pinterest.com/pin/16607092346007222/ I will admit that I do want to re-create some of the foods from the book. 😀
Eli's Lids says
That is such a great idea for a recipe book!
I loved your pin the other night with the balloons and plastic table clothes for a ceiling piece!

I still need to get you some pics of my girls in their lids in their native environment 🙂 Thanks for your posts, they always make me smile 🙂 I haven’t been able to update my blog since we got back because for some reason our internet now won’t let me get on WordPress… boo…
Wow, I still can’t believe you have 4 kiddos. I am sure you can’t, either. Some days I just wonder, how in the world is it that I am married and have 2 kids?!
I LOVED the Hunger Games. I would love to see the movie but who knows when that will happen! I will probably have to wait until it comes out on DVD 🙁
I actually would love your People magazine. But with the track record with the Lids never getting here I don’t blame you if you don’t want to send it out here!!!
Oh, and that is such a cute rainbow garland! Wish i would have seen that idea a week ago… would have made one for my daughter’s birthday – she had a “rainbow” theme party 🙂
Blessings!
Eli's Lids says
Glad you made it back safe and sound AND that you got the Lids!! I would love pix, but no rush.
The rainbow garland is super fun! Cora Jane wants a rainbow party too, so I’m going to use it there as well. It has been such a fun theme to prep for.
I would love to send you the magazine! It’s worth a try! Email me your address again and I’ll send it out.
